Review:
This has definitely been one of the best flash books that I have read. It is a great resource that will stay on my desk throughout the next year. The writing was clear and concise and I was able to learn things from even some of the more basic chapters that have been very beneficial in my workflow. This book covers at a base level almost everything that you need to know and will be dealing with in Flash MX 2004. The examples they used were helpful and easy to follow and the accompanying files were easy to access from their website.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is working in flash. Whether you are starting out or are an experienced pro, you will be sure to find some helpful insights to improve your flash capabilities. I honestly felt like this book provided just enough information without providing too much info for each of the topics covered. And the best thing is that you know that the examples being taught have been tried and proven as each of the contributors to this book are well-known professionals in this field.
The one thing that I did wish from this book was more examples. Now I know with the size of this book, that would have been difficult, but maybe a second edition can follow that is focused on samples.
Overall, I recommend this book to every flash user.
